Beacon fires once passed signals from hill to hill. Nostr relays carry posts the same way, with no central server. Here a post is a "noroshi", and the post button says "light the beacon". The look is soft and easy to read, like Misskey, and you can pick the accent color.

At the top of home is a row of "smoke", stories that vanish after 24 hours. When someone you follow posts a photo, it joins the row too. You can show a status like "on a break" above your icon (NIP-38). Reactions include original Noroshi stamps and word stamps.

DMs are encrypted with NIP-17, with group DMs and encrypted photos and videos (they work with Amethyst and 0xchat). Posts and DMs can be scheduled. There are also polls, threads, communities, a tab for browsing websites on Nostr (nsite), and "footprints" that show who viewed your profile.

Your key stays in the device's secure storage (protected by Face ID, Touch ID or a fingerprint), or you log in with remote signing such as Clave or Amber. On the web you can also use a browser extension. The main target is iPhone, with Android, a Mac app and a web version too.
